We use liquid organics for soil, not living soil. This allows us to not use reverse osmosis water, saving water. For pest management we use an IPM regiment that is OMRI certified; which is a combination of biological insecticides and fungicides; we use beneficial insects to preemptively take care of pest management issues.
We us organic OMRI certified nutrients and we grow with LEDs which saves power and increases potency (THC+Terpenes). Our carts are in glass with ceramic coil and tips and we use rice paper bags, glass jars, compostable joint tubes, and no single use of plastic. Our exit bags are biodegradable. We even repurpose old COA’s for scrap paper!
The Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) is an international nonprofit organization that determines which input products are allowed for use in organic production and processing. OMRI lists input products such as fertilizers, pest controls, and livestock care products that are compliant with organic standards. OMRI verifies input products intended for use in organic production. By focusing exclusively on inputs, OMRI provides essential expertise to support the organic certification process.
USDA seal is found on food, feed and fiber products, OMRI seals apply to those things that go into making a food product qualify as organic: pesticides, fertilizers, livestock care products and anything that may affect the production of a food intended to be identified as organic.
In the United States, the term "organic" is federally regulated and governed by standards in the Code of Federal Regulations only when used on food or fiber products. Food and fiber products that use the term "organic" are required to be certified by an independent third party certifier, with an exception for very small-scale producers with earnings below a certain amount. All producers that use this term are required by law to follow organic practices. The term "organic" is not currently regulated for many non-food products such as pet food, cosmetics, household products and fertilizers. These products may meet non-government, privately maintained standards, but the use of the term "organic" on labels is not federally regulated for these non-food products.
